Indian-American Community of Las Vegas Holds Candlelight Vigil for Victims of Terrorist Attack in Kashmir

More than 50 members of the Indian-American community gathered Sunday evening at the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign to hold a candlelight vigil in memory of the victims of a recent terrorist attack in Kashmir, India. Dora Chatterjee, a rising senior at the prestigious California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, CA, has been awarded a summer undergraduate fellowship to conduct research on the area of Fluid Dynamics, specifically on the topic of undular bores–which are a type of atmospheric gravity waves.
