United Way of Southern Nevada is pleased to announce the election of Akanksha Gupta, Scientific Games Global Immigration Counsel to serve on the Board of Directors of United Way of Southern Nevada.  

Akanksha Gupta serves as a Global Immigration Counsel for Scientific Games Corporation. She has over 10 years of experience in managing global immigration programs for multinational technology companies and practicing corporate immigration law.  She has managed outside counsel and oversees in-house preparation of filings for U.S. visas, work permits for Canada, Australia, U.K., EU, and complex permanent residency petitions. Akanksha provides complex legal and strategic advice to business leaders in connection with talent mobility, relocation, taxation, consular processing, international travel, and maintenance of legal status.

Akanksha has been passionate about immigration and has leveraged her experience to provide counsel to domestic violence victims and LGBTQ asylum seekers through nonprofit organizations Chetna and Immigration Equality. Akanksha is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law.
