Las Vegas Metro Investigation Reports No Criminal Activity at the Hindu Mandir. Case Closed.
In August of 2018, a crime report was filed with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department by the then Chairman of the Hindu Mandir, Nirmalya Chatterjee. The complaint was about the Mandir Digital Video Recorder was manipulated to audio record without the permission of the trustees or any attendees. Later on, Mr. Chatterjee discovered the DVR cover was loose and the hard drive(s) from the DVR were missing. Federal authorities have charged Las Vegas resident A. Kumar with operating a vehicle. 2017 Hyundai, under the influence of drugs to a degree that rendered Mr. Kumar incapable of safe operation.
