Hindu Mandir Celebrates 22nd Anniversary
After a long hiatus of Mandir’s annual anniversary celebrations, the community returned with full vigor to propitiously celebrate its 22nd anniversary on the newly constructed festival grounds. The newly appointed Mandir Board’s Co-Chair, Gopi Latpate, and Pravin Bakrania were instrumental in conceptualizing, expediting, and completing the project on time and within the budget. Classical Bengali Literature Concert
Bengali Association of Nevada invites the community to a cultural evening celebrating Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam, two of the greatest and most significant Bengali literature and culture icons. The cultural evening program is scheduled for Saturday, May 13th, from 5 PM to 8 PM. Program at the Dean Middle Elementary School will include classical music, poetry, and dance by the local members of the Bengali community. The program includes cultural entertainment and dinner. Guru Nanak Gurudwara celebrated 2023 Vaisakhi with the local Sikh and non-Sikh community by hosting the community at their open grounds. The open-to-all family weekend event attracted over 300 attendees. The celebrations started with Akhand Path on Friday, which ran through Sunday morning.
