Delhi and Mint India Restaurant named the Best of Las Vegas

Delhi Indian Cuisine and Mint Indian Bistro are named the top Indian restaurant by the Las Vegas Review Journal readers and the staff respectively.
Here’s what RJ has to say on both the restaurants…
As voted in the annual best of Las Vegas, the Review Journal readers voted Delhi Indian restaurant as the best in Indian cuisine. Delhi is decorated in soothing saffron, which generally helps to get things off to a smooth start and like most Indian restaurants it offers a lunch buffet, so ditto. And they serve all the usual pakoras and samosas and curries but also less-familiar dishes, such as a variety of street-food chaat, paneer cooked in the tandoor with peppers and onions, and the Goan Chicken Xacuti, cooked with poppy seeds and Kashmiri red chili. Delhi is located at 7022 S. Maryland Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89119. Phone: 702-383-4900
Howere, RJ staff foodies are more inclined to go with Mint Indian Bistro over Delhi. Mint, whose roots are Himalayan, has most of the old favorites such as rogan josh and pakoras, but this restaurant not far from UNLV also serves Rebel Curry, named for the Runnin’ Rebels and possessed of “rebelliously inspired” spices. Give us that and a mango rum lassi and we’re in a very serene state of mind. Mint Indian Bistro is located at 730 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89119 Phone: 702-894-9334
