DIL – Development in Literacy invites you to their annual fund raiser, entertainment and lavish banquet on Saturday May 10th at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino.  During the past couple of years, the Las Vegas community has raised over $100,000 to assist Development in Literacy to achieve their ambitious goal of providing education to under privileged children in Pakistan.  Please visit www.dil.org for further information on their ongoing commitment towards literacy.

Currently, DIL is serving 130 school campuses in Pakistan with a total enrollment of over 21,700 students.  Since 1997, DIL has changed lives of over 215,000 students and is assisting over one thousand teachers with a studnet teacher ratio of 21:1.  In 2013, DIL has trained over 1,300 teachers along with 100 principals to teach and manage the schools in Pakistan.  DIL is taking a lead in setting up libraries and computer labs across Pakistan.  89% of the funds, raised by DIL volunteers, go directly to the educational programs.
