Infectious Disease specialist Dr. Dhaval Shah has joined hands with Dapper Companies to develop a retail, office, and movie theater project in a booming Southwest Las Vegas.  The project named The Bend will be built on approximately 17.5 acres on the corner of Durango Dr. and Sunset Dr., across from newly opened IKEA.

Dr. Shah, under his development firm SDP Development, owns 3.85 acres of the southwest corner of

Durango and Sunset.  Dr. Shah acquired the prime corner parcel in August 2014 from the Bank of Nevada for $2.5 million.  As per the published report, the joint venture is planning to develop over 200,000 square feet of most promising Las Vegas real estate.  Plans call for the project to be completed by 2019.
