Over 300 invited guests attended the gracious and excitingly sociable grand opening of Divine Dosa and Biryani on the strip. County Commissioner Tick Segerblom was the guest of honor to cut the wide red ribbon to kick off the celebrations at the grand opening of Divine Dosa in presence of invited guests.  Divine Dosa on the Strip, with seating for over 100 patrons, is the new creative venture of the serial restauranteur Bindi and Kris Parikh, the owners of Mint Indian Bistro. The newly opened Divine Dosa & Biryani is Parikhs’ third restaurant after the coupled ventured into the dining business in 2008 after acquiring Himalayan Tibetan Cuisine and rebranding the same as Mint India Restaurant.  

Back in 2008, Mint’s food mantra was simple, colorful and flavorful Indian food that appeals to the connoisseurs of authentic Indian delicacies.  The same food mantra is still being followed at Mint’s two locations and will continue at Divine Dosas.

Among the crowded field of the local Vegas Indian restaurants, Divine Dosa is the only Indian restaurant specializing in a wide variety of savory Dosas and other South Indian specialties. The grand opening brought in their dedicated customers and family members along with some of the known and active members of the diverse Indian community.  Those who attended enjoyed the savory vegetarian and non-vegetarian freshly prepared dosas by Divine’s talented chef. Apart from dosas, the attendees devoured on a wide array of appetizing vegetarian, non-vegetarian dishes, Indian deserts, and lassi drinks.  The waiting staff’s service was impeccable, efficient with excellent mannerisms, courtesy, and attitude.

Apart from offering over 30 varieties of delicate made-to-order dosas, the restaurant will serve authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryanis’ along with full Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. 

Before opening the Divine Dosa, Kris and his Chef went on a culinary tour of India to explore the art of flavorful Indian regional delicacies.  After coming back from the much inspired and educational culinary visit, the duo decided to offer the same scrumptious delicacies at Divine Dosa with 4-foot dosa as the centerpiece of the culinary delight.
