In-Person Holi Celebrations Attracts Diverse Attendees

Vegas Roots Community Garden, a non-profit community organization, hosted the in-person Indian festival of color Holi with over 350 attendees in a colorful pulsating carnival. Vegas Roots provided vibrant color powder to all the attendees.  

Community members were seen fervently applying colored powder on each other to celebrate the festivities. Afternoon festivities under the clear Vegas sky included diverse food, music, vendors, games for children, and a traditional Holi bonfire. 

Attendees included Las Vegas City Councilman Cedric Crear, County Commissioner Justin Jones, Judge Belinda Harris along with the representative from Commissioner McCurdy, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Senator Rosen, Congressman Horsford, Congresswoman Lee, and Congresswoman Titus.
