Las Vegas Hindu Mandir Priest Brijesh Raval to Open Clark County Commissioners Meeting with Hindu Prayers

On May 6, 2025, at 9 AM, Hindu Mandir Pandit Ji Brijesh Raval will make history by offering the opening invocation at the Clark County Commissioners meeting with prayers drawn from Hindu scriptures – marking a rare and significant moment of interfaith representation in local government.

In an unprecedented gesture of spiritual inclusivity, Pandit Ji will begin the regular Clark County Commissioners meeting with sacred verses from Hindu scriptures, promoting the universal values of peace and compassion that transcend religious boundaries.
Pandit Ji will read a Shanti Path, a traditional Hindu peace invocation. It’s often recited at the beginning or end of rituals or ceremonies to bring peace to the individual and the community.
Per Pandit Raval Ji, he will wear traditional Hindu priestly attire for invocation along with a holy rudraksha mala (rosary) and a sandal-paste tilak on his forehead.
