Mahesh Odhrani, LUTCF, Financial Advisor, Wealth Strategies Group has been elected to serve as 2013-2014 president of the Southern Nevada Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Mahesh Odhrani of Wealth Strategies Group, has been in the Financial Services Industry for 10 years, is very well respected amongst his clients and within the local community. He truly believes in giving back to the community that has given him so much, volunteering once a month at various local non-profit organizations and mentoring high school students at Clark High School’s Academy of Finance Program.  In the past he also served on the UNLV Alumni Association Board as well as the President of the UNLV Lee Business School Alumni Association.

“In addition to his astounding work ethic, experience with insurance and financial plannin, and strong leadership qualities, Mahesh brings to this organization his passion on educating clients on the needs for financial planning for all aspects of their life”, said John Messina, Executive Director of NAIFA Southern Nevada.  “He is supported by a strong Board and, with his leadership I am certain together they will be powerful advocates aiming to create a positive legislative environment to help better serve their clients.”

NAIFA Southern Nevada meets every third Wednesday of the month at Lawry’s where they have some of the industry’s most notable leaders speak as well as offer continuing education courses for their members.  The organization is also active in helping the local Las Vegas community doing various fundraisers such as their local annual golf tournament and a holiday food drive.
