Milan Chatterjee Admitted to a Leadership Empowerment and Development Program of Hebrew University

Milan Chatterjee, Associate Compliance Counsel for the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, is admitted to a prestigious Leadership Empowerment and Development program sponsored by the American Friends of Hebrew University.

The 18-month program by the American Friends of Hebrew University features in-depth leadership training, educational seminars, networking, and social opportunities. In addition, a week-long Israel experience, in which participants are hosted by the Hebrew University, provides a behind-the-scenes look at the start-up nation.

The program will provide historical context on the founding of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and its pivotal role in the formation and continued success of the state of Israel. The curriculum also introduces participants to the ground-breaking research taking place today and how HU innovations are improving lives around the world. In addition, the program offers exclusive training opportunities designed to strengthen leadership skills.

Milan is actively involved with the Jewish American community organizations across the United States. During the last Nevada State assembly session, Milan testified for establishing a Holocaust Museum in Nevada. While serving as a Graduate Student Body President at UCLA, Milan stood up against the growing BDS (Boycott, Disinvestment, and Sanctions) movement at UCLA campus.  

Hebrew University is a leading university founded by Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud, amongst others. This year 20 individuals are accepted into this program from around the United States. Through this program, Milan will be attending leadership and academic seminars in Jerusalem, Israel, Palm Beach, San Francisco, and New York City.
