Mint Indian Bistro restaurant is pleased to announce the opening of its third location in Southern Nevada, the first in Henderson. After opening their first Indian restaurant on Flamingo Road, near the UNLV campus and resort corridor, by acquiring the Himalayan Tibetan restaurant and rebranding to Mint Indian Bistro, the owners Bindi and Kris Parikh have come a long way with their 15-year Indian culinary journey. The Flamingo location was an instant hit with the UNLV students, faculty, and tourists visiting Vegas.

After a few weeks of soft opening, Mint had a grand opening on Monday, December 4^th, 2023, with a ribbon-cutting festivity by Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero. The invited friends, loyal customers, and Parikh family attended the lively evening celebrations. Invitees feasted on the fresh, expansive Indian buffet of chicken tikka masala, Shahi paneer, dal, mixed veggies, and more. 

The new location was a previously Mint-owned franchise of JINYA Ramen Bar. The conversion from Jinya to Mint added an Indian lunch buffet and a mural change from a nutty woman to a calming Buddha. The inside dining area is much smaller than Mint’s other two locations, with seating for under 50 diners. “Mint is committed to maintaining the same exceptional quality of freshly prepared menu offerings as its other two restaurants,” said Ulzan Mehta, General Manager of Mint Indian Bistro.
