Over the recent days, we’ve seen an outpouring of responses, comments, constructive critiques, and suggestions across various articles on this platform. We deeply appreciate everyone’s participation in this dialogue. Your feedback is invaluable and reaffirms the democratic ethos that underpins the temple’s foundation.
The Hindu and Jain Temple stands as an essential pillar of our community, driven by the dedication of volunteers. The foundation of this organization rests upon the unwavering support from our entire community, including volunteers, the Executive Committee, and the Trustees. Since its inception in 2001, our temple has grown leaps and bounds in serving the community’s needs, and we are steadfast in our commitment to continue this mission for the years ahead.

Hindu and Jain Temple Board of Trustees
This is the first-ever meeting of the temple to which everyone is invited; a necessary and welcome step toward, hopefully, better temple management and operation. Let us hope it is the beginning of something great.
I would prefer the board discuss among themselves before meeting and come up with the plan to share with community and then finetune it. summarize the the points raised by community and create an agenda and potential actions . Retired volunteers is the need of hour.
It will be great if the trustees listen to the concerns of the community and later present a comprehensive plan to reform the entire management and operation. Here are some ideas:
1. Trustees let go the total control.
2. Start a membership with a fee, e.g. $100/yr/family, and give the community members a say in the management.
3. Form a Board of Governors, made of trustees, and community members representing diversity.
4. Have new contracts and written guidelines for priests.
5. Streamline EC’s responsibilities and procedures.
