Nilesh Patel of Patel Films invites the community to the grand premiere of the locally produced movie, Mr. DESHEE chronicling the journey of an Indian Illegal Immigrant’s journey from India to entering illegally into the United States from Mexico.

Mr. DESHEE will be premiered on Monday, October 28th at AMC Theaters at Town Square at 6:30 PM. Tickets will be available at the AMC box office for $12 per person. Reception, with Indian snacks, will be held after the movie followed by Q&A session with the Producer/Director Nilesh Patel. All the net proceeds from showing will be donated to the local Las Vegas Indian community organizations namely Hindu Mandir, Gujarati Samaj and Friends of India.

Some of the local community members, including Jayesh Mehta, has played a pivotal role in Mr. DESHEE. Gujarati Samaj of Las Vegas is also played a small role by filming a Gujarati folk dance sequence.

Nilesh has produced multiple movies in the past with focusing on horror films, however, Mr. DESHEE reflects the incredible journey taken by a determined Indian to move to America irrespective of the risks involved in crossing the US Mexican border.

A few years back, Nilesh was a resident of Las Vegas and opened a Bombay Indian Cuisine Restaurant on the Strip along with Patel Threading and Henna Art boutiques in Las Vegas.
