In its 2012 Top Lawyers in Southern Nevada survey, Vegas Inc. magazine named Puneet Garg  as one of the top lawyers in Las Vegas. 

The selection was based on the research conducted by the Seattle based company Avvo which rates and profiles legal professionals across the United States.
Attorneys are ranked on a 10-point scale on variables ranging from education, training, research publications to peer endorsements and experience in the legal field.

Puneet is an associate at Gordon and Silver.  He is in the firm’s Appellate and Commercial Litigation Departments and has extensive experience representing clients in matters involving contractual disputes, health care litigation, real estate litigation and business torts.

Before joining the private practice of law, Puneet worked as a judicial law clerk to Justice Michael L. Douglas of the Supreme Court of Nevada. Prior to his Supreme Court clerkship, Puneet clerked for Judges Bruce A. Markell and Linda B. Riegle of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.

Puneet graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Arizona in 2002, and later graduated with a law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2005.

Highly regarded by his clients and peers, Puneet’s accolades include being selected as a Top 100 Legal Elite Attorney and Top Up and Coming Attorney by Nevada Business Magazine, and as a Rising Star by Mountain States Super Lawyers.

Puneet is licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and Washington, D.C. He is additionally licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Puneet’s professional affiliations include being a member of the American Inns of Court, American Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, and Nevada Justice Association. He is additionally on the Board of Directors for the North American South Asian Bar Association. Puneet is fluent in speaking Hindi and Punjabi.
