With the ever-changing landscape of the restaurant industry, evolving customer tastes, and the rise of new cuisines, restaurateurs Surjit Heera of India Palace fame and Gaurav “Tony” Goyal, a local Sbarro franchisee have joined forces to bring Mediterranean cuisine to the growing community of Southwest Las Vegas.

Both Heera and Goyal are seasoned veterans of the restaurant industry, having successfully introduced Indian and Italian cuisine to locals in Las Vegas. Now, they’re expanding their culinary footprint with the acquisition of Mother Falafel – a long-standing, well-loved restaurant known for its wide array of Mediterranean delicacies, from its famous falafel, kebabs to the beloved savory shawarma. The restaurant bake their pita fresh in-house, and you can taste the difference – warm, fluffy, and perfect for scooping the freshly made hummus, tahini and other spicy flavorful dips.
