As reported earlier, Dr. Ravi Krishnan, M.D., was investigated by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners for violating the Medical Practices Act, specifically for violating the statutes and regulations of the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.

After the investigation by the Board, Dr. Krishnan has agreed to one count of violating the statutes and regulations of the NV State Board of Pharmacy. Per the agreement, Dr. Krishnan will pay the costs and expenses incurred in the investigation and prosecution. Krishnan shall pay a fine totaling $1,000 and will take 5 hours of continuing medical education relating to ethics.

Additionally, this agreement between Dr. Krishnan and the Board will be reported to appropriate authorities, including but not limited to the National Practitioner Data Bank. Further, Dr. Krishnan shall receive a public letter of reprimand for violating the Medical Practices Act.
