Ekal Vidyalaya Las Vegas Chapter is hosting a special Donor Appreciation Gala Night to raise much-needed funds to continue their school education, health, and other related programs in the underserved communities across rural India. 

For the first time, the Las Vegas Chapter of Ekal Vidyalaya is honoring local school sponsors by donating $365 or more per school to complement the donors’ attendance at schools they have sponsored over the past three years. Prior donors, please contact one of the organizers before April 7th to get your complimentary tickets.

Internationally recognized Ekal Vidyalaya is committed to transforming rural and tribal India through education and community development. Ekal is dedicated to providing education and holistic development to underprivileged communities in rural India.  Each Ekal school, led by a local teacher, offers free education to children without access to primary education. 

Since its inception in 2010, the local Las Vegas Ekal chapter has raised over $1 million. With the generosity of local donors, it has sponsored education for over 50,000 school children across rural India, established a computer training lab, and launched the EKAL on Wheels initiative.

Ekal’s mission extends beyond education with initiatives in healthcare, skill development, women’s empowerment, and digital literacy. Ekal’s initiatives aim to create self-reliant communities, foster social unity, and ensure sustainable growth in underdeveloped regions.

This year, Ekal Las Vegas is inviting Pawni Pandey, a Bollywood playback singer, for the evening entertainment, followed by a dinner.
