Indian-American Community Raises Over $60,000 for Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo
Led by prominent Indian-American attorney Paul Padda and Dr. Jaswinder Grover, members of the Indian-American community in Las Vegas hosted a fundraising reception for incumbent Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo (R) at the Siena Golf Club. With approximately 11 days remaining before Election Day, the event drew more than 150 attendees and raised over $60,000 in support of the governor’s campaign.
During the reception, Padda introduced Governor Lombardo and highlighted his efforts to improve the quality of life for Nevadans, emphasizing the importance of state-level leadership regardless of the political divisions shaping the national landscape.

Padda also addressed the distinction between federal and state responsibilities, noting that national issues—including international conflicts, interest-rate policies, and inflation—affect Nevadans but are largely beyond the governor’s direct control. He encouraged attendees to focus on the issues and policies that fall within the governor’s authority at the state level.
Dr. Grover emphasized the importance of voters exercising their choice and expressed his support for Lombardo, encouraging attendees to cast their ballots for the incumbent governor.
In his remarks, Governor Lombardo underscored his commitment to education, public safety, and the continued recovery of Nevada’s economy. He also highlighted his administration’s focus on declining unemployment and responsible economic growth.
Lombardo’s emphasis on education has also attracted support from a range of groups within Nevada’s diverse education community included an endorsement from the powerful Clark County Education Association (CCEA).
The gathering also included many first-time voters, several of whom were enthusiastic about the opportunity to meet Lombardo in person. The reception reflected the engagement of members of Las Vegas’s Indian-American community in the electoral process, bringing together supporters, community leaders, and first-time voters for an evening focused on the governor’s priorities for Nevada’s future for all Nevadans.
