Lawsuit: Teen sexually assaulted while unconscious at house party
Las Vegas Review Journal reports a teenage girl and her parents filed a lawsuit this month against Tina and Vipul Shah, individually and as a Trustee of the Shah Family Trust, along with an HOA and its security contractor after she was allegedly sexually assaulted while unconscious at a house party in November 2025.
The plaintiffs — identified only as a Jane and John Doe in the legal filings, represented by the laws firms of Gallagher & Lipshutz, PLLC and Murphy’s Law — are accusing Tina and Vipul Shah, The Estates at Green Valley Ranch Owners Association and its security contractor St. Moritz Security Services of gross negligence, civil conspiracy, aiding and abetting, and infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit also alleges that the Shahs violated the state’s “social host” liability laws, which allow adults to be held civilly and criminally liable when a minor consumes alcohol on their property.
The lawsuit also accuses unnamed assailants listed as respondents in the case of assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The victim did not know the names of her alleged attackers, the lawsuit said.
