Friends of India invites the community to their annual celebration of India’s Independence Day on Saturday, August 12^th, at the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center beginning 3 PM.

In an ongoing quest to engage the new generation of Indian Americans, the Friends of India is holding a quiz competition with attractive cash prizes.  The competition is open to middle and high-school students.  The competition will be in conjunction with India’s Independence Day celebrations on Saturday, August 12^th, at 1:30 PM.  The top 5 students in the written round will attend a live quiz at 4 PM.  The event is open to the children of members of Friends of India.  If interested, please send the student name, member name, school name, and grade information to foilvprez@gmail.com.  As per the rules, there must be 20 entrants to compete.
