Las Vegas Punjabi Cultural Society Hosts Annual Teeyan Da Mela – A Celebration of Women, Culture, and Community
The Las Vegas Punjabi Cultural Society is proud to announce its annual Teeyan Da Mela, a vibrant cultural celebration dedicated to honoring women and Punjabi heritage.
Teeyan Da Mela, a traditional Punjabi festival, celebrates womanhood, sisterhood, and the spirit of community. As in the past, this year, the event is open to women from all cultural backgrounds to come together for an unforgettable day of dance, tradition, and celebration.
The Mela offers a rare opportunity for women to step away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in the vibrant traditions of Punjabi culture. Join other like-minded women for a fabulous day of fun, friendship, music, shopping, and dancing to celebrate the day with a circle of inspiring Las Vegas Indian women. At the same time, savor a diverse food offering and some, yes, some gossiping. Whether you’re donning a sparkling Indian saree or a suit, or a chic contemporary sheath dress, this is your moment to shine.
There will be continuous entertainment MCed by well-known Punjabi celebrity Ms. Asha Sharma. There will be an open dance floor for traditional folk dances, bhangra, and more, including some Bollywood.
And most important, it’s ALL FREE. Thanks to the major sponsors for making this exciting Mela possible. Bring your women friends and enjoy the much-awaited outing to celebrate everything Women!
