D. Maharaj Arraigned for Attempted Murder and Battery Resulting in Bodily Harm

D. Maharaj was arraigned recently before the District Court Judge Joe Hardy on one count of Attempted Murder and one count of Battery Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm Constituting Domestic Violence, both category B felonies.
At the arraignment, Maharaj pled not guilty and was represented by the public defender. Unable to meet the cash bail of $100,000, Maharaj is currently in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. Maharaj’s jury trial is scheduled for May 2024.
