Mandeep Singh, 44, Sentenced to Five Years in Securities Fraud Case. Transferred to High Desert State Prison Amid Pending Legal Cases

In a significant turn of events, Mandeep Singh, who was previously placed on probation following a suspended prison sentence, has now been sentenced to a maximum of 60 months in prison. This decision came after Singh violated the terms of his probation, leading to the revocation of the suspension.

In September 2022, Mandeep Singh pled guilty to the crime of securities fraud and was sentenced to a maximum of 10 years and a minimum of 4 years in the NV Department of Corrections. However, the sentencing was suspended. Singh was placed on a probation for a period not to exceed thirty-six months. The suspended sentence allows Singh the opportunity to comply with probation conditions and stay out of the prison.
On March 6th, 2025, Defendant Mandeep Singh was brought to the court, and pursuant to a probation violation hearing/proceeding, Singh’s probation was revoked. The District Court Judge Tara Clark Newberry ordered the original sentence to be imposed: a maximum of 60 months with a minimum parole eligibility of 24 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections, with 48 days credit for the time served at the Clark County Detention Center.
Singh, who has been incarcerated for over two months at the Clark County Detention Center, has recently been moved to the Nevada Department of Corrections’ High Desert State Prison. This transfer comes as Singh continues to face multiple legal cases, with all matters still pending in the Clark County District Court.
