Masjid Ibrahim – Grand Opening Celebrations
On January 29, 2016, Las Vegas will welcome a beautiful addition for the growing and aspiring local community – a new place of worship named Masjid Ibrahim.
Masjid Ibrahim, a mosque and community center, will be opening its doors and welcoming the neighborhood over the course of the weekend. Having been built and privately funded by a Muslim-American woman, it is a dream manifested of local pharmacist, Sharaf Haseebullah.
Over the course of 4 painstaking years and costing close to $3 million dollars, Mrs. Haseebullah looks forward to seeing this building used as both a place of worship and a center for charitable and social programs.
The Masjid plans to celebrate their grand opening January 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with the Friday sermon and prayers, followed by a neighborhood lunch on January 30, 2016, and an interfaith dinner event on January 31, 2016. Masjid Ibrahim is located at 3788 N. Jones, Las Vegas, NV 89108
The mosque intends to launch programs that will empower and support the local community, regardless of religious, ethnic, or racial backgrounds.
