Aury Nagy, M.D., Elected President of the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners

Dr. Aury Nagy, M.D., President, and CEO of Nevada Brain and Spine Care, is elected President of the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners.

Nagy grew up in Vegas, attended Bishop Gorman High School, and moved to New Heaven, Connecticut, to attend Yale University, where he graduated with a degree in Biophysics & Biochemistry. After graduating from the Baylor University College of Medicine, Nagy completed a Neurosurgical residency at George Washington University. After completing a residency, Nagy completed a fellowship in Peripheral Nerve from Louisiana State University and a fellowship in Radiosurgery from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nagy is a founding member of the Nevada Yale Club and has served as the organization’s President and Secretary. With numerous awards and professional accolades, Dr. Nagy is passionately engaged in multiple community non-profits and has committed his time and resources to the betterment of all Nevadans.
Currently, Dr. Nagy is serving as an appointed member of the U.S. Congress Advisory Council on Health Information Technology. Dr. Nagy, an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Touro University, has previously served as the Neurosurgery Section Chief and the Spine Committee Chair at Spring Valley Hospital.
