Divya Narala Named District Director for Congressman Steven Horsford
Divya Narala, the former Nevada Political Director for President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, has a new role in the political world with a recent appointment as a Nevada District Director for the Office Congressman Steven Horsford.
Narala resided in Las Vegas for a number of years before relocating to Reno to attend the University of Reno, Nevada (UNR). During the 78th and 79th Legislative sessions, she worked for the late Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson at the Nevada State Legislature serving as his attaché and later as the Committee on Education Committee Manager.
Shortly after the 79th Legislative Session, Narala relocated to New York City to work as a Project Coordinator and Development Officer for the South Asian Council for Social Services (SACSS), a nonprofit organization empowering and integrating underserved South Asian and other immigrants into the economic and civic life of New York.
After spending some time in New York, Narala relocated to Las Vegas to work as the Nevada Political Director for Vice-President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
In her new role of District Director for Congressman Horsford, Narala will be working collaboratively to develop and implement comprehensive strategic outreach plans in line with legislative goals, community needs, and office focus areas. Previously, she served as a Strategic Initiatives Director for the Congressman Horsford.
Additionally, Narala is currently serving as a Commissioner on the Clark County Asian American Pacific Islander Community Commission representing the Indian diaspora.
