G. Gill was arrested and arraigned on charges of owning and in possession of a gun by a prohibited person and high level possession of controlled substance.

Prior to his latest arrest, Gill plead guilty in 2016 of trafficking in controlled substance.  In 2016, Gill was sentenced to a minimum of 48 months and a maximum of 120 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections along with a fine of $10,000.  At that time, the District Office tried to convince the court to declare Gill a habitual criminal based on his prior convictions for the crime of receiving stolen property in 2003 and also for the crime of burglary in 2005.

Gill is currently detained at the Clark County Detention Center in downtown Las Vegas.
