Gandhi India Restaurant along with members of the local community welcomed the Bronze Medalist winner Inspector Harinder Singh Sekhon in Men Physique category of Amateur Olympia America competition held recently in Las Vegas.  

Currently, Harinder Singh is employed as the Inspector with the Chandigarh Police department, Punjab, India and has been competing for the past 15 years in bodybuilding competitions around the world.  Harinder, a seven-time winner of the Mr. Chandigarh title, is active in the police force and spending his own financial resources to compete around the world.  In 2014, he was ranked 6^thin the international competition held in Mumbai.  In 2016, Harinder won Bronze Amateur Asia Body Building Men Physique competition in Hong Kong.  In 2017, Harinder brought home two gold medals and a bronze medal in various categories from the competition held at the World Police Games at Los Angeles, California. 

Even with his increasingly responsible full-time position with the Chandigarh Police Department, Harinder in his off time is committed to his passion for bodybuilding and competing around the world with his own resources.  Harinder has used his personal time off including vacation time and own finances to travel the world to bring fame not only to the City of Chandigarh but to whole India.  Harinder is an aspiration to many young athletes and bodybuilders who are looking forward to competing in India and around the globe.
