Las Vegan K. Deshmukh, a recent graduate of UNLV, is charged with the battery constituting domestic violence by striking Jade Chin (relationship unknown).

In a recent court deliberation, the court heard arguments from the prosecution and defense counsel regarding custody of the defendant Deshmukh. Defendant Deshmukh is released on his own recognizance with a condition to stay out of trouble and to have no contact with the victim.

As per his LinkedIn profile, Deshmukh graduated from UNLV School of Engineering and worked as a graduate teaching & research assistant at UNLV. Before joining UNLV as a student, Deshmukh was a technical support engineer at Symantec, Pune, India.
