National Merit Scholarship Corporation is pleased to announce Moonis M Ghani the winner of the scholarship national merit University of Nevada Las Vegas scholarship for the academic year beginning fall of 2021.

Moonis Ghani, a graduate of Coronado High School is planning to pursue a career in Medicine. Additionally, Ghani is a recipient of the Asian Chamber of Commerce annual scholarship.

Officials of each sponsor college selected their scholarship winners from among the Finalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program who plan to attend their institution. These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.

This year, 160 colleges and universities are sponsoring over 4,100 Merit Scholarship awards. College-sponsored Merit Scholarship winners are a part of the distinguished group of about 7,500 high school seniors who will receive National Merit Scholarships for college undergraduate study worth nearly $30 million.
