County Commissioners Approve Land Allocation to Nevada Cricket Association

Nevada Cricket Association led by President Sanje Sedera is allocated necessary park area for the future cricket games in Las Vegas.

The county commissioners have approved and authorize the agreement for the design, construction, maintenance, and donation of cricket field between the County and Nevada Cricket Association (NCA).  Nevada Cricket Association will be responsible for all funding, materials, labor, permits etc. to complete the project for a new cricket field on a County-owned property at Silver Bowl Park Field located at East Russell Road.

Nevada Cricket Association has agreed to pay all costs to create the cricket field and to provide a general contractor to oversee the construction.  Nevada Cricket Association did not specify the actual cost for executing the project.  The association is solely responsible for donations from the community for completing the project.  The project proposal did not specify the total cost of the project.
