Mandeep Singh Given Suspended Sentence


Mandeep Singh is adjudged guilty of securities fraud. Singh was handed down a suspended sentence with a maximum of 10 years and a minimum of 4 years in the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Singh’s probation has several conditions, including that he agrees to pay restitution in the amount to be distributed to victims – Harpreet Kaur, Harpal Padam, Jim Kauffman, Anshu Pathak, Shyam Kannam, and Varinder Singh.
Singh is immediately placed on probation for a period not to exceed three years. Singh is not sentenced to jail but may be sentenced for the crime at a future time if he commits another crime during a specified period.
The judge has ordered Mandeep Singh to maintain full-time employment. Singh is permitted to travel out of state solely for employment purposes and must obtain permission from the Department of Probation and Parole and an itinerary for all his travels.
